Features a comprehensive range of skills and demonstrations.  Highlights will include The World Log To Leg Pole lathe turning Championship with 16 turners going head to head to produce 2 chair legs from lengths of round timber in the shortest possible time.  The competition starts with an exciting Monte Carlo style dash for the lathes! 

Other crafts being demonstrated include hazel hurdle making, oak swill baskets, Sussex trugs, besom brooms, clog making, charcoal burning, willow weaving, dug out canoes, rush & cane weaving, cleft hurdles and gates, traditional Windsor chair carving and wooden sign making. 

This fantastic display is well worth a visit and many of the craftsmen will allow you to try your hand at some of skills as well as being able to buy their produce.
